“Then our sons in their youth will be like well-nurtured plants,
and our daughters will be like pillars carved to adorn a palace.”
Psalm 144:12
Plants & Pillars Homeschool Consortium (PPHC) is a homeschool educational program that exists to provide supplemental educational opportunities for homeschooled children in grades K-12. It is intended to complement the home educator’s core curriculum with elective classes, field trips, and group activities to enhance our children’s studies in a Christian environment.
Our program meets once a week at Water’s Edge Church in Cape Coral, FL for in-person classes. During each meeting, students participate in a variety of elective courses tailored for their age and academic level. Class offerings change every semester, but include enrichment courses such as art, music, creative writing, logic, science, drama, and history.
PPHC meets on Thursday mornings during two semesters per year: a fall semester September through December, and a spring semester February through May. Additional field trips or group activities may be scheduled outside of our normal weekly meeting times.
Plants & Pillars Homeschool Consortium’s educational program provides a rotating selection of enrichment classes designed to expand students’ learning beyond core subjects. With engaging courses in elective subjects such as art, music, creative writing, logic, science, drama, and history, our program encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in a Christian environment.
Each class is thoughtfully designed to foster both academic growth and personal expression, giving children opportunities to explore new interests, strengthen their talents, and build confidence in a supportive learning environment with other homeschooled students. Our program is designed to give students a well-rounded educational experience that complements their homeschool journey.
PPHC tuition is currently $250 (per student) per semester. Tuition includes 13 weeks of instruction each semester and all three in-person classes offered during our weekly meeting.
Tuition fees must be paid by check or cash, and may be paid in one of three ways: the entire amount by the first day of each semester, in two equal installments of $125 (one by the first day of the semester, the other by the first day of month 3 of the semester), or in four equal installments of $62.50 (each due by the first day of each month of the semester).
